Essentially a variation on "A Simple Plan" with paramedics, "Danger One" offers a familiar narrative with archetype characters that we've seen before. What distinguishes it from the lot is its terrific cast, all of whom deliver brilliant performances. Scott leads the way in a role that, in a perfect world, should restore him to leading him status.

Danger One Reviews. A messy action-comedy with no moral compass. A smarter script might've allowed these missteps to be baked into the film's appeal; instead, the film serves as a welcome reminder that action-comedy is rarely as easy as the best make it look.
