Storyline Right Now, Wrong Then (2015):
Quite by accident, a film director arrives in town a day early. With time to kill before his lecture, he stops by a restored palace and meets a fledgling artist. She’s never seen any of his films, but knows he’s famous. They talk, they go to her workshop to look at her paintings, and they have sushi and soju. More conversation follows, along with more drinks, and then an awkward get-together with friends where all sorts of secrets are revealed. All the while, they may or may not be falling for each other. Then, quite unexpectedly, we begin again, but now things appear somewhat different."A naked reflection to the meaning of now."

'Right Now, Wrong Then', which is Hong Sangsoo's 17th job as a director (and screenwriter), is a clear example of his talent. [Full Review in Spanish]
He splits “Right Now, Wrong Then” down the middle, presenting the same characters, locales and circumstances twice during an identical 24-hour period yet with adjustments both obvious and subtle. Imagine “Groundhog Day,” if Bill Murray only had two shots to get it right.

As such, Right Now, Wrong Then is perfect by the very fact that it achieves this passage, an experience that Carl Jung once called “transcendence.” Yet the film is not particularly religious and is entirely apolitical.
And then it happens again, but differently. Halfway through its running time, “Right Now, Wrong Then” starts over, reversing its title and reintroducing its central pair.
An uncanny romantic comedy, Right Now, Wrong Then is a deliciously intricate masterwork from filmmaker Hong Sangsoo. Special Features: Lost in the Mountains (2009, 31 minutes), a short film by Hong Sangsoo Video intro by filmmaker/critic Dan Sallitt (25 min.) Press Conference with director Hong Sangsoo and actress Kim Minhee at the 68th Locarno ...
Like several of Hong’s films, Right Now, Wrong Then tells a story, then abruptly restarts and tells the story again, but with a difference.Cheon-soo (Jeong Jae-yeong), a celebrated film director, has just arrived in Suwon, 19 miles south of Seoul, for a Q&A session following a screening of one of his films.
